Tri-City picked up a 6-2 victory over the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday at the Toyota Center.
The Ams now have points in their last ten games (7-0-3-0). Lukas Dragicevic opened scoring for the Ams for the second straight night. He went on to add another goal and assist for his third 3+ point night of the season. The 2023 NHL Draft prospect is on a five-game point streak with four goals and six assists over that period. Deagan McMillan, Jalen Luypen, Ethan Ernst, and Marc Lajoie also scored for the Americans. Luypen is on a six game point streak with two goal and seven assists over that period.
Tomas Suchanek played the full game in net and turned aside 34 of 36 shots faced.
Tri-City was 3/4 on the power play and 5/7 on the penalty kill.
It was Superhero night at the Toyota Center. The Americans wore special jerseys featuring Batman artwork by Jim Lee. The jerseys are up for auction online at amshockeyauctions.com.
