
Condors Return Home on Friday Following 5-0 Loss

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Bakersfield Condors (8-12-1-0, 17pts) fell to the Cincinnati Cyclones (10-8-5-1, 26pts) 5-0 in front of 3,048 fans at US Bank Arena on Tuesday night.
The Cyclones jumped out to a first period lead when LW Dylan Hunter pushed a backhander through the legs of G Josh Tordjman. The goal came just after time expired on a Condors penalty. The lead was increased to 2-0 before the end of the period when former Condor F Mathieu Aubin blasted a slap shot into the top corner of the net.
The Cyclones added to their lead 6:46 into the second period. After D Carl Hudson kept the puck tied up in left corner, Hunter was able to slip free and push a backhand between Tordjman's arm and body for the goal. It was the lone goal scored in the frame.
The Condors were unable to mount a comeback in the third, as F Christian Minella scored off an offensive zone face off less than five minutes into the period. The scoring was capped off with a power play goal from F Chris Clackson with less than a minute left. Cyclones G Marc Cheverie stopped 27 shots for the shutout win.

LW Kyle Calder played his first game of the season for Bakersfield... The Condors closed out a four-game road trip and return home for a two game set this weekend...C Rylan Kaip did not play for the second straight game... Power plays: BAK: 0/4, CIN: 1/5...
