STOCKTON, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (7-14-0-1, 15pts) rallied from two goals down, took a lead with eight minutes left in the third period, but the Stockton Thunder (13-8-0-3, 29pts) responded with two goals late for a 6-5 victory on Saturday afternoon at Stockton Arena. Bakersfield took four of a possible six points on the weekend three-in-three set.
First Period
Stockton goal: C Andrew Clark on a deflection past G Chet Pickard. Time of goal: 1:22; Thunder lead, 1-0 Condors goal: C Gary Steffes backhanded a shot from the left-wing circle off the crossbar and over the line. Time of goal: 8:34; Game tied, 1-1 Shots: BAK- 10 | STK - 5
Second Period
Thunder goal: D Ben Rosen followed up a rebound on an odd-man rush. Time of goal: 4:30; Thunder lead, 2-1Thunder goal: F Garet Hunt floated a shot from the slot on the power play past Pickard. Condors goal: C Ryan Little snapped home his first professional goal from the left-wing circle. Time of goal: 22 seconds. Game tied, 3-3.Thunder goal: Hunt scored his second off a busted play in the Condors end. Time of goal: 1:34; Thunder lead, 4-3Condors goal: D Erik Burgdoerfer wrist shot from the slot beat G Brian Foster.
