Wheeling, WV - The Florida Everblades will wrap up their four-game road trip through the Atlantic Division Sunday at 3:00pm as they face the Wheeling Nailers for the final time in the 2013-14 regular season at WesBanco Arena.
Both sides will try and top Saturday's thrilling tilt that saw four ties and three lead changes as the Blades escaped with a 5-4 shootout win. Kellan Tochkin equaled a franchise record with four assists on the night for Florida.
For the Blades, defeseman Olivier Dame-Malka and forward Kyle Bonis both scored for the second straight night on Saturday, with Bonis tallying his rookie-best 13th goal of the season.
Despite falling in the shootout, the first-place Nailers were able to pad their lead in the Atlantic to nine points over idle Reading on Saturday. Wheeling forward Zach Torquato, who scored with one second left on the clock to force overtime, barged into the top three in scoring in the ECHL with 28 points (9g, 19a), five points off Matthew Pistilli's league lead of 35 (14g, 19a) for the Blades.
Sunday's matinee rematch will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades' app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 2:45pm.
