Bakersfield, Calif. – Jason Ralph and Paul Rosebush scored second period goals 23 seconds apart for the Bakersfield Condors to snap a tie score and lead to a 4-2 win against the Trenton Titans in front of 4,044 fans at Centennial Garden on Sunday.

Both teams were locked up in a defensive first period, each playing their third game in three nights. Neither team could score in the opening 20 minutes, with the Condors leading in shots 11-5. In the second, a partial breakaway by Mike Barrie yielded the first goal of the game, and Bakersfield led 1-0. Barrie has scored in three straight games. Less than two minutes later the Titans tied the game on the power play, with Chris Pittman notching the tally.

Late in the second, the Condors jumped back in front for good. Jason Ralph and Paul Rosebush scored just 23 seconds apart to lift Bakersfield to a 3-1 advantage inside the final two minutes of the period. Bendera had made 14 saves in the second period alone.

Kevin Riehl's 16th goal of the year, on the power play, gave the Condors a comfortable 4-1 advantage at the 10:57 mark. Despite a Tyler Kindle goal just 1:58 later, Bakersfield remained undefeated when leading after two periods by taking the game by a 4-2 final score. The Condors pulled to 12 points behind the Alaska Aces for the fourth and final playoff spot, with the Aces hosting Las Vegas tonight. Bakersfield has gained nine points on Alaska since the middle of January.
