PLAYOFF PICTURE
With last night's shootout win in Las Vegas, the Condors climbed back within two points of the Phoenix RoadRunners for the final National Conference playoff spot. The Condors have one game in hand (Bakersfield has played 59 games whereas Phoenix has played 60), and the two teams will wrap up the season series with a game in Phoenix on April 3. The first tiebreak for playoff contention in the ECHL is overall wins.
PROMOTIONAL NOTES:
SpongeBob Squarepants will be in The Nest tonight, courtesy of Bright House Networks, 101.5 KGFM and Diamond Technologies. SpongeBob will be entertaining fans around the concourse before and during the game, and will also be taking pictures with fans in the Condors Photo Booth during the first and second intermissions. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
The Condors continue March Monday Madness on Monday with Extinct Team Night. All fans wearing a jersey from a professional sports team that no longer exists will receive $1 admission to the game. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
Also on Monday, the first 2,000 fans will receive a magnet of C Tim Konsorada, the second in a five-piece magnet giveaway series scheduled for each Monday in March. Don't miss Mucho Season Ticket Giveaway, Mad Dashes for Merch and Cooler Kicking Contests as well - it's all a part of March Monday Madness at The Nest!

ROSTER UPDATE:
D Andrew Andricopoulos, acquired from South Carolina on Tuesday, was placed on team suspension today. D David Kudelka (3-IR) and F Ryan Gibbons (7-IR) remain on the IR, although both are eligible to be activated. D Scott Balan, C Mike Hofstrand and F Sean Venedam are all on the 30-IR for the remainder of the season after undergoing season-ending surgery.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Condors and Steelheads are meeting for the seventh time this season. Three of the first six meetings this year have required a shootout to be decided, including a 4-3 shootout win for the Condors in Idaho on Feb. 27. Bakersfield is 32-44-10 all-time against the Steelheads. The two teams will wrap up the season series two nights from now, on Monday, March 10 at The Nest.

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days.
