Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Condors concluded a three-game road trip and returned home Saturday night to beat the Phoenix RoadRunners, 5-1, in front of 8,328, the second largest crowd of the season, and sixth largest crowd in franchise history at The Nest. It capped a week in which the Condors earned points in three of their four games, going 1-1-2 in the process.
The Condors battled their Highway 99 rivals, Fresno, Tuesday night in a game that was postponed one night due to ice conditions. The Condors jumped out early but couldn't hold on as Fresno took the overtime win, 2-1. The following evening the Condors took on Stockton and dropped another close one, 2-1. On Friday, the Condors faced the Phoenix RoadRunners in Arizona and lost their third straight one-goal game, 3-2 in overtime.
