Weekly Summary:

The Chiefs visited Wheeling on Saturday and Sunday, earning a decisive 4-1 victory on Friday night before squeaking out a 4-3 overtime win on Saturday night.

Great Performances:

Bryan Nathe and Ben Wallace each had two assists in Johnstown's 4-1 win on Friday night.

Ben Wallace scored his first goal of the season and assisted on Stanislav Lascek's overtime winner on Saturday night to have consecutive multiple-point games this weekend.

Stanislav Lascek scored two goals, including the overtime winner, on Saturday night.

Morgan Cey earned wins on both Friday and Saturday, extending his winning streak to three consecutive games, dating back to Johnstown's victory over Trenton on February 18.

Radek Smolenak scored the game-winning goal on Saturday, his 13th marker of the season.

Jean Desrochers scored his first shorthand goal of the season on Friday night, firing his 12th goal of the season into the empty-net while Wheeling had a man-advantage.

February 23 @ Wheeling (4-1 W)

Wheeling got on the scoreboard first, but Grant Jacobsen evened the score midway through the second period with his fourth goal of the season. Radek Smolenak would score the game winner less than seven minutes later, and Dmitri Tarabrin and Jean Desrochers would each add an insurance goal. The Chiefs were 1-for-3 on the power play, and Morgan Cey made 29 saves on 30 shots to earn the win.

February 24 @ Wheeling (4-3 OTW)

Stanislav Lascek scored two goals, including the game-winner on a power play in overtime, to lead the Chiefs to a weekend-sweep of Wheeling. Ben Wallace scored his first goal of the season and scored his second consecutive multiple-point game. Morgan Cey made 45 saves on 48 shots to earn the win for Johnstown, while the Chiefs were 1-for-4 on the man-advantage.
