Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization will honor Athletic Trainer Brian Grogesky this Friday, March 2, in a ceremony to be conducted at the Sovereign Center prior to the Royals' game against the Johnstown Chiefs (7:05 pm), during which he will be formally inducted into the Reading Eagle Wall of Honor. Grogesky, who has served as the team's athletic trainer since the inception of the organization six years ago, has been on the Royals' bench for over 400 consecutive games. Born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania, Grogesky was selected by his peers this season to serve as the trainer for the American Conference in the ECHL All-Star Game in Boise, Idaho. Grogesky becomes the third person in the history of the organization to be inducted into the Wall of Honor. Earlier this season, the Royals honored former players Larry Courville and Ryan Flinn with plaques on the Wall of Honor, which is located on the concourse walkway of the Sovereign Center. The first 1500 fans at Friday night's game will receive an oversized trading card of Brian courtesy of the Reading Eagle. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
