Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 2-0-1 record last week, starting with a 5-0 win at Victoria on Wednesday night. Las Vegas dropped a 3-2 shootout decision on Friday night in Victoria. Saturday night, the Wranglers posted a 3-0 shutout of the Salmon Kings. The Wranglers are 7-1-2 in their last ten games played. Las Vegas owns a three-point lead over Bakersfield for first place in the Pacific Division.
The Wranglers play four games in five nights this week starting Tuesday night. Las Vegas returns home on Tuesday to host Idaho at 7:05 pm. After a game in Phoenix on Thursday, March 1st, the Wranglers will host the RoadRunners at 7:05 pm on Friday, March 2nd and Saturday, March 3rd. The first 2,000 fans to the game on Friday, March 2nd receive a Wranglers Pint Glass, compliments of Integrity Jeep Chrysler Dodge. On Saturday, fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party from 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.

Victoria, BC - The Las Vegas Wranglers shutout the Victoria Salmon Kings 5-0 at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre on Wednesday night. Goalie Mike McKenna stopped 22 shots in his return from Omaha. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp for the Wranglers. Defenseman Aaron Power scored a goal and added an assist, as fellow defenseman Jason Jozsa dished out two assists.

Victoria, BC - The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated by the Victoria Salmon Kings 3-2 in a shootout at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre on Friday night. Victoria's Julien Ellis made 31 saves and stopped three of four in the shootout to lead the Kings over Las Vegas. The Wranglers, who dropped to 3-7 in shootouts this season, received a season-high 40 saves from goalie Kevin Nastiuk. Forwards Tyler Mosienko and Joe Tallari each scored in regulation.

Victoria, BC - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Victoria Salmon Kings 3-0 at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre on Saturday night. Las Vegas goalie Mike McKenna made 42 saves for his second straight shutout, as the Wranglers took five out of a possible six points in a three-game series at Victoria. McKenna stopped 22 shots in a 5-0 shutout of the Salmon Kings on Wednesday night to start the week. The second-year Wrangler goalie is now 16-3-6 with a league-leading 2.14 goals against average and a league-leading .934 save percentage. Wranglers' forwards Tyler Mosienko, Derek Edwardson and Steve Crampton each scored as Las Vegas concluded their six-game road trip with a 3-1-2 record.

Idaho comes to Las Vegas playing some of their best hockey of the season with a seven-game unbeaten in regulation streak (6-0-1), including four straight wins. Las Vegas leads the season series with a 5-1-2 record in the previous eight meetings. Las Vegas is 17-10-7 all-time against Idaho. The Steelheads are coming off back-to-back wins over Utah by a combined score of 15-3. Left wing Lance Galbraith has three goals and 12 assists for 15 points in his last five games played. Galbraith posted a goal and five assists in Idaho's 7-0 win on Saturday night. Center Marty Flichel leads the team in scoring with 29 goals and 36 assists for 65 points in 50 games played. Goalie Steve Silverthorn leads the ECHL with 26 wins.
Phoenix RoadRunners - (24-26-4, 52 points, 3rd Place, West) -
Las Vegas leads the all-time series with a 10-1-2 record, including a 2-1-1 mark this season. Phoenix is 2-7-1 in their last ten games played. Forward Justin Aikins leads Phoenix in scoring with 44 points in 52 games played. The RoadRunners have scored 15 goals in regulation in their last ten games.
