New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
TRENTON, NJ - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) were shutout for the first time this season Saturday night, falling 6-0 at the hands of the Trenton Thunder (Yankees) at ARM & HAMMER Park.
After three scoreless innings, Trenton took the lead in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a walk, two infield singles, a throwing error and a run-scoring groundout.
They added to their lead with an unearned run in the fifth, a two-run home run in the sixth and a solo shot in the seventh to go up 6-0 through seven stanzas.
Trenton starter Michael King was masterful, going the distance to blank the 'Cats and hand New Hampshire its first shutout loss of the year.
