Colts Make Trade for Forward Nosad

Barrie, ON- Barrie Colts General Manager Jason Ford announced today that they have completed a trade with the Peterborough Petes.

The Barrie Colts acquire right-winger Stephen Nosad from the Peterborough Petes in exchange for a 10th round pick in 2016.

In 2011 Nosad was drafted by the Peterborough Petes in the 2nd round, 27th overall. The Tottenham, Ontario native was currently playing in his fourth season with the Peterborough Petes.

The 6'0" 200lbs forward has appeared in 205 career OHL games scoring 27 goals, 52 assists for 79 points. In 2011-12, Nosad was named to the OHL Second All-Rookie team and also went on to win a bronze medal with Team Ontario at the WHC U17 tournament.
