Stephen Nosad Traded to Barrie

(Peterborough, ON)- Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that the team has traded winger Stephen Nosad to the Barrie Colts in exchange for Barrie's tenth round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.

The 6'0, 200lbs right winger is in his fourth OHL season since being selected by the Petes in the second round, 27th overall in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. In 31 games this season, the Tottenham, Ontario native has totalled a goal and five assists for six points along with ten penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating of minus-five.

"We would like to thank Stephen for his commitment to the Peterborough Petes organization, and wish him the best of luck in Barrie," noted Oke.
