General Manager Warren Rychel has traded forward Ryan Moore along with Guelph's 4th Round pick in 2015 to the Oshawa Generals.

In exchange, the Spitfires secure the rights to prospect Chase Pearson, Oshawa's 3rd Round pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection and Oshawa's 2nd in 2021.

Pearson is a 1997-born player currently in his first full season with the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League. He's a 6'2, 180-pound left winger from Alpharetta, Georgia.

Moore, 17, played two seasons with the Spitfires after being selected in the 2nd Round of the 2013 OHL Priority Selection, 35th overall, from the Belle Tire Minor Midgets. In 98 games played, Moore registered 10 goals and 20 assists along with a minus-19 rating and 75 penalty minutes.
