He struck out the final two batters to earn his third save of the year.

Centerfielder Ronnie Gaines scored San Angelo's only run. He hit a leadoff double in the first, and then with the bases loaded, scored from third on a sacrifice fly by left fielder Cory Patton.

Starter Brian Henschel kept the Roadrunners scoreless through the first six innings. Edinburg broke through for two runs in the seventh, though.

First baseman Tim Battle hit a one-out solo homer, and catcher Osiel Flores scored from third on an RBI single by second baseman Wilmer Pino. Flores drew a one-out walk and advanced two bases on a pair of singles.
