
Colonel Claw'd Supports March of Dimes and League of Dreams This Weekend

This Week in Condorstown:
Thursday, April 26th: Condors player Scott Balan will be interviewed on KGET- TV 17 News At Sunrise at 6:40 a.m. to talk about the team's plan for knocking out the Alaska Aces in the second round of the playoffs.
Thursday, April 26th: Don't miss Condors player Todd Griffith on The Big 96.5 KBKO at 7:40 a.m. for another edition of "Ask a Condor" with Kenn and Jenn in the morning. Fans can visit www.965kbko.com to send in their questions for a chance to win tickets to an upcoming playoff game.
Friday, April 27th: The Condors will take on the Alaska Aces for Game 3 of the National Conference Semifinals. All fans in attendance will receive a pair of Condors Cheerstix, compliments of KGET-TV 17 and California Water Service Co. After the game stop by the Holiday Inn Select Autograph booth, located on the concourse behind section 108, and have your Nightly Notes signed by Todd Griffith and Kam White. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
Saturday, April 28th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will walk alongside participants in the March of Dimes "WalkAmerica", from 8-9 a.m. The walk begins at Liberty Park, located at 11225 Brimhall Road, and is geared towards improving the health of babies by raising funds, to help prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Saturday, April 28th: Don't miss your Condors at the 15th Annual Festival of Beers at Stramler Park, located at 3805 Chester Ave. The event is from 1-5 p.m. and features a fun-filled day of music, beer and food. Entry is $35 and all proceeds will benefit the Active 20/30 Club, who then donates that money to the youth of Kern County.
Saturday, April 28th: The Condors and the Alaska Aces will battle it out once again in Game 4 of the National Conference Semifinals, with a special start time of 8 p.m. The first 2,000 fans through the door will receive a Condors Travel Mug, compliments of KGET-TV 17 and California Water Service Co. Don't forget to stop by the Holiday Inn Select autograph booth after the game to have you nightly notes signed by Reagan Leslie and Scott Balan. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Sunday, April 29th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will attend the League of Dreams sporting tournament at 1 p.m., at Sam Lynn Ball Park, located at 4000 Chester Ave., to help support hundreds of local disabled kids' dreams of becoming professional athletes. Colonel Claw'd will be present to welcome participants and help encourage kids to try their hardest. To get involved with the League of Dreams call 377-1700.
Week In Review:
Friday, April 20th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd helped get students pumped up for testing this week at McKinley Elementary. Colonel Claw'd along with Blaze mascot, Heater, danced alongside teachers and helped emphasize the importance of eating right and getting lots of good sleep to prepare for their challenging exams.
