SERIES HISTORY:

Tonight is Game 1 of the National Conference Semifinals, and the second time the two clubs have met in the postseason. Bakersfield and Alaska clashed in the 2005 division semifinals when the Aces took the series three games to two. The home team was victorious in every game, as Alaska won the first two games at home, before the Condors forced a decisive Game 5 with back-to-back wins at The Nest. Alaska, however, took Game 5 and advanced all the way to the National Conference Finals before falling to the eventual Kelly Cup winner Trenton Titans.

The Condors were 4-2-3 against the defending Kelly Cup Champion Aces during the regular season and picked up at least one point in every game played at Sullivan Arena. Bakersfield was 2-0-3 in Anchorage, coming from behind in each contest. The Condors were 2-2-0 against the Aces at The Nest. Of the nine regular season meetings, four were decided in either overtime or a shootout.
