
Cochran Re-Joins Roster

Carolina Mudcats News Release
Zebulon, NC --- The Cincinnati Reds have made a set of transactions impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's second game of the second half against the Jacksonville Suns.
LHP Tom Cochran has been reassigned to the Mudcats from the Billings roster. LHP Jeremy Horst, who made his Double-A debut last night as a starter for the Mudcats, has been reassigned to the Sarasota Reds of the Florida State League. Additionally, LHP Alexander Smit, who came off the disabled list to start the first half finale at Tennessee Sunday, has been put back on the DL, retroactive to June 22nd, with back spasms.
The Mudcats are currently one short of the Southern League roster limit, entering tonight with 23 players.
