Clippers Streak Ends with Loss to South Bay

ONTARIO, CA- The Agua Caliente Clippers (12-5) had their five-game win streak snapped as they fall to the South Bay Lakers (11-5), 111-98, on Wednesday night.

Moses Wright led all scorers with 26 points for the Clippers. He grabbed 10 rebounds to complete the double-double.

Keaton Wallace added 22 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks in the losing effort.

South Bay was led by Mason Jones' 24 points. Paris Bass added 18 points off the bench.

The Lakers came out of the gates hot, opening the game with a 31-13 advantage on their way to a wire-to-wire victory. They would lead by as much as 19 in the contest. ACC closed the gap in the third, bringing the score to within three points, but couldn't get over the hump.

With the All-Star break on the horizon, the Clippers have eight days off before returning to action on Thursday, February 24th when they host the Stockton Kings in an afternoon matinee. Tip-off is slated for 11 a.m. PT inside the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif.
