
Herd Scares Away the Raptors, 133-125

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, beat the Raptors 133-124. The Herd took the lead in the first quarter and built their lead to 11 in the second quarter. Wisconsin came out of the half with seven unanswered points to put them ahead by 21 points. The Raptors clawed back within five points in the fourth quarter, but the Herd was able to hang on to win the game.
Tremont Waters guided the Herd to the win with 31 points while Terry Larrier added 20.
Reggie Perry led the Raptors with 38 points followed by Jodie Meeks with 31.
The Herd took a quick lead going up 10-4 at the beginning of the game. The Raptors answered outscoring the Herd 11-2 to take the lead 15-12 but it wasn't enough to hold off the Herd. The Herd scored seven unanswered points to go ahead 28-26 and stayed in the lead at the end of the first quarter 38-31.
The Raptors came within two points with nine minutes left in the second quarter, but the Herd turned around to go up by 11. The Herd ended the second quarter with their largest lead of the half 68-54. Tremont Waters was on top for the Herd with 20 points in the first half.
The Herd hit seven unanswered points to go up by 21 points in the third quarter. With five minutes left Wisconsin was ahead 93-68. The Herd continued to grow to its largest lead of the game going up by 25. The Herd was on top at the end of the third quarter 104-86.
The Raptors outscored the Herd 11-4 to come within 11 points with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter. The Raptors continued to crawl within five points with three minutes left. The Herd held on to build their lead back up by 10 and to win the game 133-124.
The Herd will play again at home against the Motor City Cruise on Wednesday, February 23 with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. CST.
