Clippers Skirt by Wolves in OT behind Darling's Heroics

ONTARIO, CA- The Agua Caliente Clippers (7-1) win an overtime thriller against the Iowa Wolves (5-3), 116-108, to stay hot to open regular season on Thursday night.

All five starters scored in double-figures for the Clippers, led by Xavier Moon's game-leading 26 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists. Moses Wright added a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double while Keaton Wallace contributed with 24 points.

Leandro Bolmaro led the Wolves with 21 points on nine-of-16 shooting from the field. Jordy Tshimanga added a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Trailing by five with 39.5 seconds remaining, Nate Darling hit a three-pointer to bring the Clippers to within two. After Bolmaro missed a game sealing three-point attempt for Iowa, Darling's floater with 9.2 remaining in regulation tied the game at 106. Bolmaro then missed a chance to win the game as regulation expired and Agua Caliente outscored Iowa 10-2 in overtime to claim the victory.

Agua Caliente wraps up a four-game home stand on Saturday night as they host the Oklahoma City Blue. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. PT inside the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif.
