Clippers End Losing Streak with Win over Bulls

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Agua Caliente Clippers (5-5) end their three-game losing streak, defeating the Windy City Bulls (5-5), 105-102, in a gritty Thursday night contest.

Mfiondu Kabengele's clutch free throws in the final minute helped seal the victory for the Clippers. He finished the game with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds and tied his season-high with five blocked shots.

The two teams exchanged blows in the opening half, with the Clippers coming out hot to take a 35-17 first quarter advantage, followed by Windy City's 29-9 second quarter response to carry a 46-44 lead into the half. The second half was a close one, with the Clippers finally reclaiming the lead with 3:12 remaining, hanging on the rest of the way.

Johnathan Motley led all scorers with 27 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field. He added five rebounds and seven assists.

Seven Bulls scored in double-digits, led by Adam Mokoka and Max Strus, who each put up 15 points.

The Clippers are back in action on Monday, Dec. 9 to host the Memphis Hustle. The matinee will tip-off at 11 a.m. PST inside the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif.
