
Chiefs Outlast Tips in 3-2 Road Battle

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs held on for a 3-2 victory at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in the league's featured Wednesday Night in the Dub clash.
Spokane's Coco Armstrong scored first at 12:36, cashing in on a 2-on-0 rush. Dominik Rymon followed up with a five-hole shot for Everett, evening the score at 15:30 in the opening frame.
Carter Bear gave the Silvertips the lead 12:15 into the second period during the power play assisted by Eric Jamieson and Rymon. Spokane's Rasmus Ekström tapped in a rebound at 15:13 and again at 19:06 while on the powerplay, giving Spokane a 3-2 lead after two.
The Chiefs held on in the third period, turning aside 12 Silvertip shots in the final frame for the win.
Jesse Sanche saved 17 of 20 shots on goal for Everett. Dawson Cowan stopped 30 of 32 shots in the win for Spokane.
