Regina Pats Partner with CMHA Regina for Talk Today Game

Regina, SK - The Regina Pats are proud to announce their upcoming Talk Today game, in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), to raise awareness and support for mental health.

The themed game will take place on Saturday, February 1 at 6pm against the Brandon Wheat Kings, and will highlight the importance of mental health, encourage open conversation, and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.

As part of this initiative, the Regina Pats have teamed up with CMHA Regina to promote mental well-being both within the team and in the wider community. Throughout the game, fans will have the opportunity to learn more about mental health resources and engage with professionals to foster dialogue and understanding.

Talk Today is an initiative through the Canadian Mental Health Association that encourages communities to come together, raise awareness, and start conversations around mental health, using the platform of sport to bring attention to the topic. It is a movement that emphasizes the importance of mental well-being for all individuals, whether they are players, fans, or community members.

Fans attending the game will also have the opportunity to access mental health resources and speak with CMHA Regina representatives during the event. The game will serve as a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health and that support is available for those who need it.

"The Talk Today program aims to combat stigma by starting conversations around mental health and encouraging individuals to seek the help they need and deserve. Through initiatives like this, we're fostering understanding, raising awareness, and creating a culture where athletes feel supported in prioritizing their mental well-being."
