Chiefs Lose Third Straight

Johnstown, PA- Reading Royals forwards Brandon Dietrich and Steve Rymsha each had a pair of goals as they handed the Johnstown Chiefs their third straight loss; 6-2 Saturday night at the War Memorial.

Remi Royer, and Brian McCullough also scored for Reading which improved to 17-15-1 on the season. The Chiefs remain winless against Northeast division opponents this season (0-3-2).

Lukas Smital, and Jay Langager scored for the Chiefs. Royals goaltender Jeff Sanger made 43 saves for his 6th win of the season, while Chiefs goaltender Mark Scally made 27 saves for his 3rd loss of the season.

The Chiefs are now 12-15-3 on the season.

The Chiefs will play their next four games on the road beginning tomorrow night at Lexington (6:00 p.m.). Thursday the Chiefs will be in Trenton (7:00 p.m.), Friday at Wheeling (7:30 p.m.), and Saturday night at Toledo (7:30 p.m.). The next home game will be on New Year's Eve. Tickets are now on sale. Come see the Chiefs take on the Richmond Renegades and ring in the new year. Face-off is at 6:00 p.m.
