
Chiefs Fans Set Franchise Teddy Bear Toss Record

6,829 stuffed animals were collected to be donated to The Christmas Bureau
The Spokane Chiefs want to issue a sincere thank you to all of the fans who were able to take part in donating nearly 7,000 stuffed animals to the Spokesman-Review Christmas Bureau.
The Christmas Bureau is annual holiday assistance program coordinated by Catholic Charities Spokane, Volunteers of America, and The Spokesman-Review.
Chiefs fans were encouraged to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to be tossed onto the ice after the first Chiefs goal of the game at the the annual Teddy Bear Toss game, which took place on Saturday, December 9.

Kral and Yamamoto Selected to IIHF World Junior Championship Camps
IIHF World Junior Championship Tournament play begins December 26
Congratulations to Chiefs 18-year-old defenseman Filip Kral and 19-year-old forward Kailer Yamamoto for being selected to their respective countries' preliminary rosters for the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship!
If selected, Kral will represent the Czech Under-20 National Team. Yamamoto would represent t he U.S. Under-20 National Team.
