Chiefs Fall to Wheeling

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs had their four game unbeaten streak stopped Saturday night, as the Wheeling Nailers defeated the Chiefs 3-0 at the War Memorial.

Matt Smith, Zenon Konopka, and Steve Crampton all scored for the Nailers. Nailers goaltender Tyler MacKay made 32 saves for the win, while Chiefs goaltender Mark Scally made 20 saves in the defeat.

The Chiefs fall to 20-25-8 on the season, while the Nailers improve to 20-27-3.

The Chiefs will play their next three games on the road beginning Friday night at Reading. Saturday night they travel to Trenton. Wednesday, February 19th the Chiefs will be in Toledo to take on the Storm. Remember the Chiefs 1000th ECHL game will be played at home on February 22nd vs. Toledo.
