Checkers Fantasy / Free Agent Camp This Weekend

The Charlotte Checkers will hold a Fantasy / Free Agent Camp starting this Friday. The camp runs Oct. 5, 6 & 7. Participants will compete against other amateurs and free agents under the direction and supervision of the Checkers' coaching staff. Two participants from the Fantasy / Free Agent Camp are guaranteed a spot in the Checkers' official training camp.
When: Oct. 5, 6 & 7
Cost: $150 includes ice time, jersey and meals
Where: Extreme Ice Center - the official practice facility of the Charlotte Checkers

The Checkers enter their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL on Oct. 19 against the Columbia Inferno. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date. The Checkers will enter their third season of play at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena this fall. Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting at just $399.
