Checkers Constant Called Up to Wolf Pack

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League have recalled defenseman, Ryan Constant from the Charlotte Checkers.

Constant, 5-foot-11, 200 pounds has skated in 45 games for the Checkers this season registering three goals and 14 assists for 17 points with 70 penalty minutes. This will be his second call up of the year to Hartford. Earlier this season, he skated in seven games with the Pack scoring one goal and zero assists with four penalty minutes.

The Checkers are in their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL. The next home game takes place on March 6 against the Dayton Bombers. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date.
