Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Chattanooga Lookouts and Erlanger are teaming up to present two exciting nights of baseball beginning at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30 at AT&T Field.
On Friday, August 29, Erlanger will recognize emergency medical service personnel and other rescue and medical agencies for "First Responder Night" at AT&T Field, beginning at 7:15 p.m. In recognition of Erlanger's partnership with the region's first responders and 25 years as the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center, Erlanger welcomes our fans to take part in the special recognition during the game against the Tennessee Smokies. Weather and medical flights permitting, fans will experience a LIFE FORCE air medical landing never seen before at the ballpark. Fans will also be able to meet some of our local heroes and receive special giveaways throughout the night. This special evening will conclude with another Fireworks Friday Spectacular.
"The Chattanooga Lookouts are thrilled to be able to partner with Erlanger to put on two great events," said Lookouts' President and General Manager Rich Mozingo. "This is a great opportunity to entertain and educate our fans about the fantastic programs Erlanger continues to run in our community."
A day later fans can come back out to the park and celebrate with Erlanger and the Lookouts during "Strike Out Stroke Night" on Saturday, August 30. As the region's only comprehensive stroke center, Erlanger was nationally recognized earlier this year by The Joint Commission for providing the highest level of care for patients with the most severe and challenging types of strokes and cerebrovascular disease. Stroke survivors and medical specialists will be there to raise awareness and educate fans on the signs and symptoms of stroke. On Saturday, the Lookouts will also welcome back the World Famous ZOOperstars! to provide even more entertainment and fun throughout the evening.
Tickets for both games and for the rest of the upcoming homestand against the Tennessee Smokies, which begins on Thursday, August 28 and includes Fan Appreciation Day (8/31), can be bought online at www.lookouts.com or by phone at 423-267-4TIX.
