Charleston, WV (July 15, 2009) - The West Virginia Power will be hosting a charity dinner with former West Virginia University Mountaineer and Pittsburgh Steeler Amos Zereoue on Sunday, July 26, 2009. The dinner will benefit a new charity, Field of Minds, formed by Zereoue. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the former NFL standout as well as sample a meal from his Manhattan restaurant, "Zereoue".

Field of Minds is geared toward teaming up with government parks and recreation departments in underprivileged areas across the country. Its goal is to help re-furbish, build, and/or maintain playing fields to provide a safe and clean environment for the youth of today and tomorrow. Field of Minds will officially kick off shortly before Zereoue's trip to Charleston. The event on the 26th will be the charity's founding event.

"We are excited to work with Amos and are honored to be hosting the founding event for Field of Minds," stated Power General Manager Joe Payne. "It has a lot of potential and we are glad to be a part of a charity that is helping provide a safe and clean environment for kids."

The charity dinner will take place in "The Clubhouse" at Appalachian Power Park from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Tickets for the event are $100 per person or $700 per table of eight. Tickets for the dinner also include a ticket to that night's game beginning at 5:05 PM.

Following dinner in "The Clubhouse" Zereoue will be available inside Appalachian Power Park for a brief autograph session from approximately 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
