The Canton Charge (22-16), presented by SecureData 365 and powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, defeated the Delaware 87ers (16-21), 111-99, at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Delaware on Saturday night. Canton's starters accounted for 106 of the team's 111 points, with four different players scoring 20+ points.
The Charge finish February 7-2, including nabbing six wins on the road. They're now 12-7 in division play and 18-4 when holding opponents under 100 points. Canton boasts the top-ranked scoring defense in the D-League.
Arinze Onuaku tied for the league lead with his 25th double-double, scoring 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting with 11 rebounds, four steals and two blocks in 36 minutes. Stephen Holt scored 25 points and grabbed six rebounds in 37 minutes. Brandon Paul had his fourth-straight game of 20+ points, netting 23 with five assists in 32 minutes. Antoine Agudio added 22 points on 5-7 from three-point range in 38 minutes.
Six Delaware players scored 10+ points to carry the load, led by Victor Rudd's 20 points with seven rebounds and six turnovers in 32 minutes. Drew Gordon supplied a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds in 35 minutes. D.J. Seeley scored 15 points with seven assists and three steals in 30 minutes.
