CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge (2-13) of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, were defeated by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (8-10), 133-104, at the Wolstein Center on Wednesday evening.
Cleveland was led by Tacko Fall's career high-tying 27 points on 12-of-14 from the floor with seven rebounds and three blocks in 27 minutes. Justin James scored 22 points and grabbed six boards in 36 minutes. Dylan Windler added 17 points, eight rebounds, one steal and one block in 39 minutes on assignment from the Cavaliers. R.J. Nembhard scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished seven assists in 39 minutes.
Fort Wayne's Justin Anderson led all scorers with 31 points on 12-of-23 from the field in 36 minutes. Gabe York scored 26 points on 6-of-12 from three-point range with five rebounds and seven assists in 35 minutes. Walt Lemon Jr. scored 23 points, dished out 10 assists, grabbed six boards and nabbed three steals in 37 minutes. After an early tie, the Mad Ants led for the duration of the game and by as many as 17 to take a 3-0 season series lead.
