
Chadwick, Wormald Named to Players to Watch List

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club have announced that 2005-born skaters Noah Chadwick and Logan Wormald have been named to the National Hockey League's Central Scouting Players to Watch List.
Chadwick, 17, was rated as a 'C' skater for the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The Saskatoon, SK, product was a second-round (38th overall) draft pick of the Hurricanes in the 2020 Western Hockey League Prospects Draft. He has appeared in 12 games this season for the 'Canes totaling five points (1g-4a) along with a team-best plus-5 rating. The 6'3, 190-pound defenceman had collected eight career points (3g-5a) and four penalty minutes in 25 regular season games.
Wormald, 17, was also rated as a 'C' skater for the NHL Draft. The Langley, BC, product was selected by the Hurricanes in the third-round (45th overall) in the 2020 WHL Draft. The 5 '9, 150-pound forward has registered four points (2g-2a) along with six penalty minutes in 12 games this season for the Hurricanes. Last year, Wormald finished with 38 points (14g-24a) along with 22 penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating in 55 games and was named the 'Canes Rookie of the Year.
A total of 43 WHL players were named to the NHL Central Scouting Players to Watch List.
A 'C' rating indicates a fourth, fifth, or sixth round draft candidate. The 2023 NHL Entry Draft will take place June 28-29, 2023 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Hurricanes return to action on Wednesday when they visit the Swift Current Broncos at 7:00pm before returning to the ENMAX Centre on Saturday, October 29th at 7:00pm to welcome the Saskatoon Blades in the B-93 Halloween Howler.
