T-Birds Acquire WHL Rights to Luke Prokop

Seattle Thunderbirds News Release
KENT - The Seattle Thunderbirds today announced the team has acquired defenseman Luke Prokop from the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for a first-round draft pick in 2025, a third-round draft pick in 2023, and a third-round draft pick in 2025. All draft picks are conditional on Prokop returning to the WHL.
Traded to the Edmonton Oil Kings during the 2021-22 regular season, Prokop went on to play in 55 games and had 10 goals and 23 assists for a total of 33 points.
Prokop was drafted in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft by the Nashville Predators and is currently playing professional hockey in their system.
