Three Blazers on NHL Central Scouting Rankings

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have three roster players on NHL Central Scouting's preliminary rankings. Defenseman Kaden Hammell and forward Connor Levis are listed as B prospects and goaltender Dylan Ernst is listed as a C prospect.

Hammell is in his second full season with the Blazers and has two goals, one assist and three points in 10 games this season. The 17-year-old was a first round pick of the Blazers in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

Levis is in his third season with the Blazers and currently has four goals, 10 assists and 14 points in 10 games. The 18-year-old has 70 points in 100 career games with the Blazers.

Ernst is also in his third season with the Blazers. The 18-year-old goaltender attended the Carolina Hurricanes NHL camp this fall. In eight games this season, the Weyburn, SK native is 4-3-0-1 with a 3.27 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.

The Blazers also had five non-roster players that are on the hockey club's 50-man list that made the rankings. Forwards Austin Burnevik, Cameron Johnson, Kaden Shahan, Cooper Conway and goaltender Calvin Vachon all are listed.
