Chadsey Waived

February 3, 2004 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Lubbock Cotton Kings News Release

LUBBOCK – Lubbock Cotton Kings Director of Hockey Operations and Head Coach Kirk Tomlinson announced today the release of rookie forward Jeremy Chadsey.

"Chadsey was a good player for us, but unfortunately Gerry Hickey was coming off the I.R. and we needed to clear a roster spot," said Tomlinson. "It will be great to have Gerry's grit and emotion back in the lineup."

Chadsey has been placed on waivers and can be claimed by any Central Hockey League team by 12:30 (Phoenix time) tomorrow. If he goes through the league without being claimed, he will be eligible to play for other leagues.

Hickey is expected to come off the injured reserve Thursday for the road contest against the Corpus Christi Rayz. He has 184 penalty minutes and five points in 31 games with the Kings.

Tickets can be picked up at Select-a-Seat locations or by calling 806.747.PUCK (7825).
