
CF Montréal Signs Defender Grayson Doody

MONTREAL - CF Montréal announced Tuesday the signing of defender Grayson Doody to his first professional contract with the Club. The 10th overall pick of the 2024 MLS SuperDraft has agreed to a one-year deal for the 2024 season, including three option years for 2025, 2026 and 2027.
The Hermosa Beach, California native spent the last four years in the NCAA with the UCLA Bruins. In his final college year, Doody logged 1,550 minutes (a Bruins record in 2023) and was a starter in all 18 games he featured in. He helped his team win its first PAC-12 division title since 2012.
The defender played a total of 4,932 minutes during his college career, scoring three goals and providing six assists in four seasons. Primarily a right-sided fullback, Doody also spent time within the LA Galaxy Academy system prior to moving up through the American college ranks.
Academically, Doody was named to the UCLA Honor Roll on six occasions.
