ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC played to a 0-0 draw against Tigres UANL on Tuesday night at INTER&Co Stadium. The Lions will travel to Monterrey, Mexico for the second leg at Estadio Universitario, also known as El Volcán, on Tuesday, March 12, with kick off set for 10:30 p.m. ET. That match will be televised on FS1.

With the series tied 0-0 on aggregate, next week's match at El Volcán will determine who moves on to the Quarterfinal round, with away goals serving as the first tiebreaker, should it be needed.

Head Coach Oscar Pareja:

"Very hard game for both teams. I think the competitiveness was shown on the field from the first minute to the end, with two teams that gave their all and intended to win the game. There were points in the second half where we thought we could have won the game. We fought and we played well. The most remarkable thing for me was the personality of the team throughout the match and overcoming the difficult [result in Miami] that we had over the weekend. The personality and the compromise of our athletes was remarkable. I am very proud of them. It was a great response and put the team back on the surface and we are ready to keep going."

Match Notes:

Getting the start in the net, Pedro Gallese made his 125th appearance across all competitions for the Lions.

Earning the start in the backline, defender Kyle Smith made his 145th appearance, all of which have come with City.

Tuesday's scoreline mirrors the score of the first leg in last year's meeting between these two sides, with Orlando City grinding out at 0-0 result in Mexico.

Head Coach Oscar Pareja made four changes to his starting lineup from his side's last match against Inter Miami CF, with David Brekalo, Nico Lodeiro, Luis Muriel and Kyle Smith all getting the start.

Next Match: The Lions will next host Minnesota United FC at INTER&Co Stadium this Saturday, March 9. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
