Club de Foot Montreal News Release

MONTREAL - For the first time this season, CF Montréal (4-3-2) will play a second straight home game as the Club gets set to host Orlando City SC (5-3-2) this Saturday at 4pm EDT at Stade Saputo (TVA Sports, 91.9 Sports, TSN 690).

Currently sitting fourth in the Eastern Conference, CF Montréal is seeking to break a new MLS Club record with a seventh straight unbeaten game. The squad is 4-0-2 in its last six games, with the Club's last defeat dating back to a 4-1 away loss to New York City FC on March 12.

Montreal will be without midfielders Victor Wanyama and Ismaël Koné as both are suspended due to yellow card accumulation.

When the Lions last visited Stade Saputo on November 7, 2021, they dashed Montreal's playoff hopes, handing the home team a 2-0 loss. Montreal holds a 3-3-0 overall record against Orlando at Stade Saputo, with 10 goals scored and 13 goals against.

In addition, with the second-best offence in the East (16 goals scored), CF Montréal will be facing a defence that has conceded just one goal in four away matches this season. Since the 2-0 opening game win over Montreal, the visitors have remained undefeated on the road with a 2-0-2 record. The Florida side defeated the Columbus Crew (2-0), drew both the Portland Timbers (1-1) and Chicago Fire (0-0) in addition to besting the LA Galaxy (1-0).

Mother's Day festivities will also be underway at Stade Saputo this Saturday, including a four-pack of tickets for the price of three at $75.
