
Ceremonial 15-Player Team Selected by Curve Fans Through In-Stadium and On-Line Voting

ALTOONA- The Altoona Curve announced the franchise's ceremonial Tenth Anniversary Team prior to Friday's Fourth of July game at Blair County Ballpark. The team consists of 15 top players from the franchise's first 10 seasons. One first baseman, second baseman, shortstop, third baseman, catcher and relief pitcher were named to the team, along with four starting pitchers, three outfielders and two extra position players.
The Tenth Anniversary Team was selected based exclusively on a fan voting process, which began in March and concluded in late June. Curve fans had the opportunity to vote for their favorite players from throughout franchise history in person at Blair County Ballpark, on-line at AltoonaCurve.com, and on ballots which were printed inside the Curve GameDay Program.
