Mississippi RiverKings News Release
SOUTHAVEN---The Central Hockey League announced the non-starters for the Northern and Southern Conference All-Star Teams today. The 2005 Dodge C.H.L. All-Star-Game is scheduled for Wednesday, January 12 in Laredo, Texas. Colorado Head Coach Chris Stewart will lead the North and Chris Dashney from Lubbock will coach the Southern team.
The two coaches along with the C.H.L.'s Hockey Operations staff filled out the rosters for each conference with six additional forwards, four additional defensemen and two additional goalies to go with the starters who were announced on Wednesday. Each C.H.L. team has a minimum of one player on the All-Star roster. The starting lineups were determined by balloting done by team broadcasters, media relations representatives and selected media members from league markets.
The Memphis RiverKings will be represented by starters Don Parsons at forward and Derek Landmesser at defense. No RiverKings players were included in the non-starters list.
The entire rosters for each All-Star squad can be seen at www.centralhockeyleague.com along with a related story.
