
Celtic Heritage Day at INVESCO Field

The Colorado Rapids and the Celtic Tavern, along with our partners Fado Irish Pub and Celtic Events & Entertainment, are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd Annual Celtic Heritage Day at INVESCO Field on Saturday, August 24th! The Rapids will be playing the San Jose Earthquakes at 2:00 p.m., and fans of all heritages are invited to come join the festivities and participate in this unique event!
The Rapids Celtic Heritage Day is a celebration of Celtic history and tradition, and the Colorado Rapids are pleased to be able to host such an exciting event. Festivities this day will include:
- performances by a collection of the best bagpipe bands in Colorado
- the "Celtic Cup" 3 v 3 soccer tournament
- local Celtic bars, clubs and organizations
- meet + greet w/ John Spencer, Rapids team captain and former Scotland national team player
- official Postgame Party at the Celtic Tavern in Lodo
- the events of Celtic Heritage Day are free with a ticket to the Rapids game, so come one, come all!!
