'Cats win fourth straight

West Sacramento, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats won their 4th straight game, rolling over the Memphis Redbirds on Monday night at Raley Field, 11-3. Sacramento racked up eight extra-base hits on the night, including four home runs (Eric Patterson, Justin Knoedler, Brooks Conrad and Matt Murton) and three triples, tying a River Cats franchise-record (Donnie Murphy, Murton and Conrad). The team tallied 16 hits on the night in total, their highest offensive output since May 31st. Starting pitcher Chris Gissell earned the victory, allowing just two runs in 5.0 innings of work. With the win, and Las Vegas' loss to New Orleans, the Cats' lead in the Pacific Conference Southern Division is extended to 4.5 games.
