
Angels Recall Loux, Option O'Day to Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY (August 4, 2008) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Shane Loux and optioned right-handed pitcher Darren O'Day to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Loux, 28, has appeared in 18 games for the Bees in 2008, owning a team-best 12-6 record with a 3.98 ERA. The Rapid City, S.D. native signed with the Angels as a free agent on November 13, 2007.
O'Day, 25, has appeared in 27 games for the Angels in 2008, owning a 0-1 record with a 4.34 ERA. He has appeared in 10 games for the Bees this season, owning a 1-1 record with a 3.63 ERA and four saves.
