Montgomery, AL --- Didi Gregorius broke a 3-3 tie in the ninth with a single, then Eric Campbell drilled a three-run homer to lead the Carolina Mudcats to a 7-3 win in their road finale of the 2011 season at Montgomery on Tuesday night.

Justin Freeman and Donnie Joseph (S, 8) combined to record the final three outs as the Mudcats won their second straight in the series.

Curtis Partch allowed 10 hits over his 6 2/3 innings, fanning seven and not walking a hitter. Partch permitted two runs in the first, then another in the second before shutting down the Biscuits the rest of the way.

Brandon Hynick (W, 4-3) earned the victory in relief of Partch by retiring all four hitters he faced.

The Mudcats close out the regular season beginning on Thursday against the Mississippi Braves at 7:15 PM ET. Josh Ravin will start the opener against the Braves' Chris Cody.
