Springfield, MO - Chandler Redmond went 3-for-3 tonight and Pedro Pagés hit his second homerun in as many games as the Cardinals (24-28) took Game 1 from the Naturals (20-32) Tuesday night 6-1.

RHP Edgar Escobar had an outstanding night on the mound, only allowing 1 hit and 1 walk through 5.0 IP while striking out 5
1B Chandler Redmond went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk, ending his 2-for-17 skid he had in his last 6 games
C Pedro Pages sealed the Cardinals lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning with a 2-run HR that traveled 413ft off his bat. He's now gone yard in back to back game for Springfield.
