
Cardinals Prospect Shuts Down Snappers

The Snappers fell to the Quad Cities River Bandits 9-0 Friday night as J.J. Hardy made his last appearance in a Snapper uniform before going back to Minnesota to rejoin the Twins.
In the game Hardy had three plate appearances while going 1-for-3 on the night.
The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" is Kane Holbrooks who went 2 1/3 innings of work as he struck out four batters.
The Snappers will try to avoid the three game sweep as they send right hander Michael Tonkin to the mound. Game time is set for 7:00PM with fireworks following the game presented by the Rodeway Inn.
