
New Lineup Announced for Rock of Ages, featuring Alice Cooper at Classic Park On Friday, September 3

The Lake County Captains, in partnership with WNCX 98.5 FM and Radio 92.3 FM, have announced that a new lineup will take the stage for Rock of Ages at Classic Park, Featuring Alice Cooper on Friday, September 3. The event will take place at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio, home of the class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. The lead singers of Rare Earth, Sugarloaf, Blues Image and Iron Butterfly will appear on one stage and have replaced Buckcherry, who was originally scheduled to perform but had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict. Ticket prices have been reduced and are on sale now via CaptainsBaseball.com and may also be purchased by calling 440.954.WINS or at the Classic Park Box Office.
Iconic hard rocker Alice Cooper, who literally invented the concept of the rock concert as theater and is known as the architect of shock-rock, will bring his full-theater concert experience, creating a rare and unique live music experience for the Cleveland region to witness at Classic Park. Cooper is well-known internationally for hits such as "School's Out", "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Poison" and has produced over 25 albums during his remarkable career, including his latest Along Came A Spider. Cooper has also expanded his range of talents to areas outside of music, including becoming well-known on the celebrity golf circuit, as host of his Nights with Alice Cooper radio show, which is syndicated domestically and internationally on over 100 stations.
Gates will open at 5:30 PM and the show will start at 7:00 PM. Field Level General Admission tickets are only $39.50 in advance and General Admission Box Seats will be $24.50 in advance. Tickets will be an additional $5 on the date of the show. Fans who have purchased tickets already for this event and who wish to receive a full refund must present the original tickets in person or send the original tickets to the Classic Park Box Office no later than July 15. Fans wishing to keep their already purchased tickets may present them at the Classic Park Box Office and receive a $10 per ticket refund.
In addition to general admission tickets, two private party decks are still available for up to 60 people and may be ordered by calling the Captains office at 440.975.WINS.
This show will be the second of the summer at Classic Park, following the Jim Brickman Summer Musicfest on August 7. It continues the tradition of great artists who have performed at the state-of-the-art facility, including Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Live, Collective Soul, Def Leppard and Bryan Adams. Classic Park is located on Route 91, just north of Route 2 in Eastlake, Ohio only 15 minutes from downtown Cleveland. Concert attendees are encouraged to check the traffic advisory notices posted at CaptainsBaseball.com for information on travel to and from Classic Park during current road construction.
