
Captains fall 3-2 in 10

Lake County Captains News Release
(Beloit, WI)- Michael Gonzales' RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the tenth inning gave Beloit a 3-2 walk off victory of Lake County on Friday night. It was the third straight loss for the Captains, who are now 0-5 in extra innings this season.
Lake County took a 2-0 lead in the fourth. Anthony Gallas was hit by a pitch and Alex Monsalve doubled to center to put runners on second and third. Gallas scored on a passed ball. Ronny Rodriguez doubled to right field to score Monsalve.
Snapper Jairo Perez hit his first homerun of the season in the bottom of the fourth inning; the solo shot cut the lead in half at 2-1.
Beloit tied the game up at two in the seventh inning. Daniel Santana singled to right field scoring Lance Ray from second.
Blayne Weller (4-2) picked up the win working two scoreless innings, no hits, walking two and striking out three. Rob Bryson worked just two thirds, allowing a run, on one hit, walking one and hitting a batter, with a strike out.
Lake County and Beloit continue there weekend set on Saturday night from Pohlman Field at 8:00PM. The Captains will start RHP Cole Cook (2-6) against LHP Pat Dean (0-0) for the Snappers. Catch all the action on AM1330 WELW or online at captainsbaseball.com.
